NYK Logistics recently moved into a new location which is a purpose built 27,000m² Scandinavian Distribution Centre [SDC] in Gothenburg. The new warehouse amalgamates NYK’s logistic activities in this large facility incorporating high bay racks and narrow and broad aisles as well. The large mezzanine floor at the facility is ideal for pick and pack activities, while the site has 24-hour class 2 security and electric fencing.
Chosen for its convenient location in Arendal, close to the Port of Gothenburg, Scandinavia’s leading port. NYK has invested around €17 million for the new facility. While Gothenburg is the leading logistics hub in Scandinavia, NYK’s new facility is now in a prime location for cargo distribution across Scandinavia. The new location brings NYK’s warehouse and office locations to a total of 332.
